Sigma Delta Lambda Programs
Meals on Wheels
Sigma Delta Lambda volunteers with Meals on Wheels, the oldest and largest organization in the United States that offers meal services to people in need. For millions of Americans, Meals on Wheels is literally the difference between remaining in their own homes and needing to relocate to a nursing facility. The nutritious meal, friendly visit and safety check help them cope with three of the biggest threats of aging: hunger, isolation and loss of independence. Research proves that when seniors have the right support, they gain greater quality of life, need fewer hospital stays and live longer.

March of Dimes
Sigma Delta Lambda is partnered with The March of Dimes of Southeastern Michigan. We have current brothers participating as board members for the organization. March of Dimes helps moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. If something goes wrong, they offer information and comfort to families. They research the problems that threaten our babies and work on preventing them.

Angel Tree Project
Sigma Delta Lambda participates in the Angel Tree Project to provide gifts for children whose parents are currently incarcerated. Angel Tree reaches out to the children of inmates and their families with the love of Christ. This unique program gives your church an opportunity to share Christ’s love by helping to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the families of prisoners.

Make-A-Wish Foundation
Sigma Delta Lambda has partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation as certified wish granters. Make-A-Wish grants the wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition in the United States and its territories, on average, every 38 minutes. They believe that a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides the foundation. It inspires them to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids that they serve.
